< Back Ambassador - Lausanne Apply Now Lausanne, Switzerland Job Type Part Time About the Role STN ambassadors are engaged to promote and raise awareness of the network and its activities. They do so by endorsing, recommending, and referring Swiss Tunisian Network and its activities to others in their network. Ambassadors, enable STN to leverage their broad reach and direct influence to increase brand awareness. This increased awareness drives memberships and ultimately increases stability and reputation of the network. Requirements 1. Promote the activities and services of the network: The overriding duty of an ambassador is to promote the activities and services to their followers on social media, or with other friends and acquaintances. This is done by educating people about the network services through demonstrations, videos, posts, content creation, etc. 2. Onboard members: One of the primary responsibilities of an ambassador is to bring in new members, onboard them and keep a close relationship. 3. Participate in key events: Ambassadors may be required to attend a variety of key events including receptions, galas, and other business events to promote the network activities. They are also expected to organize events for their members. 4. Act as a model: In some cases, an ambassador may also be required to act as a model for marketing materials created by STN. This includes newsletters, social media posts, or presentations. 5. Answer Queries: Often, the ambassador will become the first point of contact for questions from the prospective members they influence or engage with. To fulfil this duty, the ambassador should maintain a strong knowledge of the network and its activities. The ambassador should understand the vision, goals, and operations of the organization as well. About the Company Bringing together Tunisian and Swiss professionals from different sectors of activity, the Swiss Tunisian Network organization forms a network that provides its know-how in the development of sustainable socio-economic, cultural and educational projects between Switzerland and Tunisia. We, young Tunisian professionals living in Switzerland, aware of the benefits of having a network to which we can belong, exchange and initiate projects, unite today through the Swiss Tunisian Network. With several years of experience in the associative world, we wish to allow young graduates of Swiss universities to continue to engage and increase their professional network. We also have a council of elders, and we strive to be a generational bridge and thus a platform of opportunities. Committed to a sustainable paradigm shift based on innovation with measurable impact, we aim to be among the actors of the technological revolution in Tunisia through the provision of concrete initiatives. J'ai commencé après à travailler dans le domaine de Data Engineering, un domaine qui me passionne profondément. Nos ambassadeurs Devenir ambassadeur Notre équipe: Notre équipe MEHDI DAMAK Président Ingénieur diplomé EPF en Mécanique Manager à Simon-Kucher & Partners Mehdi est manager au sein du cabinet de conseil en stratégie, Simon-Kucher & Partners au bureau de Genève. Il a plus de 5 ans d'expérience de projets de croissance d’entreprises, de monétisation, et de marketing dans les secteurs des services financiers, de l’éducation et le secteur social. Mehdi travaille actuellement sur l’établissement d’une nouvelle division interne dédiée au secteur public et social. Mehdi est membre et cofondateur d’un comité mondial de responsabilité sociale d’entreprise et coordonne un programme interne de projets Pro Bono et de coaching de startups sociales. Mehdi est titulaire d’un Bachelor en génie mécanique de l’école polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne et un Master en génie mécanique de l’ETH Zurich. Contactez FARAH ABDELLAH Trésorière Ingénieur diplomé EPF en Mathématique et Ingénierie Financière Analyste de marché Diplômée de l’Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne en mathématique et en ingénierie financière en 2018, Farah travaille actuellement en tant qu’Analyste de marché dans une entreprise de négoce de l’énergie basée à Genève. Elle est responsable du développement de modèles mathématiques afin de prédire la variation des prix du gaz naturel dans le monde dans le but d’orienter les traders dans leur prise de décision. Lors de ses études à l’EPFL, Farah a rejoint l’association des Tunisiens Universitaires en Suisse en 2012 et en est devenue vice-présidente en 2014-2015. C’est donc sans aucune hésitation qu’elle a décidé de renouveler son engagement associatif en rejoignant l’équipe fondatrice de Swiss Tunisian Network en 2021 en tant que trésorière de l’association. Travaille dans le domaine de la mesure dimensionnelle de très haute précision. Il oriente développement, conception et fabrication de machines de mesure dimensionnelle de précision. Au cœur de ses compétences se trouvent le développement Hardware, le traitement d’image, le Machine Learning ainsi que la gestion des équipes et des projets. Houssem a toujours été actif dans le monde associatif. Il est d'ailleurs un membre fondateur de l'association Tunisiens UNiversitaires En Suisse (TUNES). Son engagement dans la cofondation du projet Swiss Tunisian Network est la continutité de TUNES et s'inscrit naturellement dans le grand rêve d'avoir une communauté Tunisienne active et connectée. Contactez WASSIM MAÂOUIA Responsable relation publique et communication Ingénieur diplomé EPF en Génie Electrique et Electronique Ingénieur commercial chez Schneider Electric Diplômé de l’Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne en génie électrique et électronique en 2017, et actuellement ingénieur commercial chez Schneider Electric en Suisse, il s’est engagé très jeune dans le monde associatif. Intégrant l’association des Tunisiens Universitaires En Suisse en 2011, il en devient le président pour deux mandats en 2013-2014 et 2014-2015. Lançant sous ses mandats l’un des projets phares de l’association, le projet Web4Innovation, bootcamp autour des technologies du web, il continua ses activités associatives avec le lancement en 2021 des Applied Machine Learning Days Africa, pendant des Applied Machine Learning Days de l’EPFL, l’un des plus grand événement autour du Machine Learning en Europe. Continuellement motivé par le renforcement des échanges scientifiques, éducatifs et culturels entre la Suisse et la Tunisie, il décide de continuer son engagement dans ce sens en co-fondant le Swiss Tunisian Network en 2021 et prend la responsabilité des relations publiques et de la communication. Contactez FARAH BOUASSIDA Responsable évènements Ingénieur diplomé EPF en Systèmes de Communication Product Manager chez Proton Technologies AG Après avoir travaillé en tant que consultante en stratégie digitale, Farah rejoint Proton technologies pour retrouver le domaine de la sécurité qui a fait partit de son cursus à l'EPFL en Systèmes de Communication. Farah a été dans le comité de plusieurs associations Suisses pendant ses études telles que la Junior Entreprise EPFL et la radio Fréquence Banane. Elle souhaite, à présent, participer à construire des liens solides entre les tunisiens professionnels en Suisse mais aussi à former des partenariats entre la Tunisie et la Suisse. Contactez MAHMOUD ZGOLL Responsable programmes et projets Ingénieur diplômé EPF en Microtechnique, Robotique Ingénieur en traitement de signal et en Machine learning Diplômé de l’Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne en Microtechnique avec une spécialisation en Robotique et en intelligence artificielle, Mahmoud est actuellement ingénieur en traitement de signal et en Machine learning dans une startup américaine basée à Genève. Il contribue notamment au développement de son entreprise et le bouclement de phases techniques très complexes du projet. Son intérêt à la vie associative à commencé dès son très jeune âge en intégrant l'interact club de Nabeul comme Trésorier. Cet intérêt s’est renforcé en intégrant l’association des Tunisiens Universitaires En Suisse en 2013. Il en devient le président en 2017-2018. En 2021, il renouvelle son engagement et rejoint l’équipe fondatrice de Swiss Tunisian Network en occupant le rôle de responsable programmes et projets. Contactez RAMZI KAROUI Responsable Financement Ingénieur diplômé HES en Génie électrique Ingénieur Conseil en énergies renouvelables Diplômé de Haute Ecole d’Ingénierie et de Gestion du Canton de Vaud (HEIG-VD) en génie électrique avec une spécialisation en systèmes énergétiques, il travaille depuis plusieurs années comme ingénieur conseil dans le développement des énergies renouvelables et plus particulièrement le solaire photovoltaïque. Son métier lui permet d’être à l’écoute des gens, de définir leurs besoins et d’essayer d’y répondre au mieux. Grâce à son activité professionnelle, il participe activement à la réduction de l'empreinte écologique de ses clients. Actif et engagé auprès de la société civile, il est membre du conseil communal de la ville d'Yverdon-les-Bains pour la législature 2021-2026, l’organe délibérant de la Ville et qui constitue le pouvoir législatif. Il est aussi membre de la commission des finances de la ville. Son engagement auprès de la société et son engouement pour l'aide au développement entre la Suisse et la Tunisie lui ont permis de rejoindre l’équipe fondatrice de Swiss Tunisian Network en 2021 en tant que responsable des financements.
